Making Friends
CAPITOLO 1: Facciamo amicizia
Five students, all 25 years old, sat in a peculiar way at a library
table on the first day of their group project. Before this effort,
they had never met. They collaborated on an environmental project
that lasted a whole semester. There was a lot of confusion.
Julia,
a friendly student studying news, was the first to speak. Hello
everyone! I am Julia. Should we begin by saying our names?
Amir,
a quiet engineering student who likes to observe others, followed.
"Hello, I am Amir," he said softly. I am good at planning
and technical tasks.
"My name is Elena," said a
cheerful student studying economics. She was quick, but sometimes she
seemed a bit too serious. "I am glad to create the budget for
the project."
Nina, a shy art student, smiled
happily. "I am Nina." I find it simple to design ads and
photos.
Last was Matt. He was a confident business major
and really loved public speaking. Hi, I am Matt. I think I will
probably lead the discussions.
Julia felt the stress and
tried to make things more fun. "Alright, we understand who we
are." "Would anyone like some coffee?" After everyone
laughed at her idea, the ice melted.
